Awoko Frowns at SLFA Decision

The Western Area Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Alim Awoko Sesay (above) has disclosed that the decision of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) regarding the Brookfield’s United saga is not right and that the association has undermined the whole process.

He said as chairman of the football association, they have all the right to settle their dispute and if the situation is above them, then they will refer it to SLFA as a parent.

He said as an association they are disappointed at SLFA and therefore demand an apology.

“I just want the executive of SLFA to know that I am very mad about their decision, and that they need to come and talk to the entire executive of the WAFA,” he said.

Awoko stated that if clubs in the Western Area continue to bypass the association and think that SLFA is the right body to investigate and take final decision, they are committing a serious crime because WAFA will continue to stand on its decision as they have the constitutional right of decision.
