As the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) elections come closer the Team Manager of the Ports Authority Football Club who are the current champion for the just concluded Salone Premier League and Mr. Foday Turay, have joined forces to clinch the two topmost positions on offer, this paper has learned.

According to these reports, it was not easy for the two men to come together but stakeholders who are desperate for change in football prevailed on them to see reason and join forces so that they could win and eradicate corruption and selfishness which have adversely affected football over the years.

A delegate who spoke to this paper, Mr. Sulllay Kamara, he stated that they want change that was why they were supporting these two men.

He stated that if Mr. Naseru Deen, the current Vice Chairman of WAFA failed to bring any positive developments to football in the region he didn’t see how his bluff that he will spend a lot of money on the campaign will be of any benefit to him or the organisation.
