WAFA Vice Chairman, Foday Turay
The newly elected executive of the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) yesterday commenced the Division One, Female and Division Two League at the National Stadium in Freetown.
According to the chairman of the WAFA, Mr. Foday Turay, he stated that as a responsible executive they have started the league with no sponsorship.

Speaking to AYV Sports on the commencement of the league, an official of Sheffield United, Mr. Sullay Kamara, said they were very happy that the league has finally started as their boys have been eager to show their talents.
