One of the executive members of the National Olympic Committee Sierra Leone (NOCSL), Mr. Prince Suallay, who also double as President of the National Wrestling Association (NWA) has said that this is a proactive period for the NOCSL because over the past two to three years they have made a lot of significant gains in the country.
He made this statement when the NWA presented the Tae-Kwon-Do executive members to the Committee at their Howe Street headquarters in Freetown.
Mr. Suallay said that with the inclusion of Tae-Kwon-Do into the association under the NOC they are warmly welcome into what he called a close knit family.
He assured the Tae-Kwon-Do executive that the NOC will do everything possible to support and cooperate with them at all times.
In his statement the NOCSL Secretary General, Mr. Joseph Nyande, said they have made a lot of achievements over the years which has earned them so much respect in the country. He said they have established a sports library which they will open very soon.
Addressing the group, NOCSL President, Mr. Henry G. Moore, said he was very happy for the Tae-Kwon-Do President, Mr. Oness A. Johnson, for his steadfastness to make sure that what their objectives are achieved.
In his remarks, Mr. Oness A. Johnson, said he was very happy for the meeting is day and thanked the Committee’s executive for the good work they have been doing over the past years. He assured them of their fullest cooperation and support at all times.
