The Chief Executive Officer of Trans National Sierra Leone Limited, the sole agent for DSTV Sierra Leone, Mr. Adonis Aboud, has revealed that Sierra Leone’s representatives in the Big Brother live TV show in South Africa, Miss Zainab Sheriff and Miss Daphne Alexandra, will come to an end if people refuse to vote for them across Africa and Sierra Leone in particular.

Addressing newsmen yesterday at his Wilkinson Road in Freetown, Mr. Aboud stated that this is the first time that Sierra Leone is being represented in the famous Big Brother show, noting that he was very proud to see Sierra Leoneans performing well in the said show. He admitted that even though everybody knows that the two representatives are doing well, the rules and regulations of the show are very difficult and respecting them will determine whether or not they can stay in the show.

He disclosed that already Sierra Leone is next for eviction, pointing out that it is important for all Sierra Leoneans to vote now for their sisters so as to maintain them in the show.

He explained that to vote one simply writes the name of the person and sends it to 2626, which he said costs only 40 units on the Comium, Africell and Airtel networks. He also stated that a person has the eligibility to vote from one mobile phone number once a day.

He maintained that the two Sierra Leoneans in Big Brother are doing very well and are appreciated by their colleagues in the house.

In his statement, the Media Coordinator for Trans National Sierra Leone Limited, Mr. Edward Marrah, explained that during his visit to South Africa to witness the launching ceremony of Big Brother and to inspect the facilities in which the participants will be residing, he visited the newly constructed house which is been used this year, where he said the participants have no gadgets to communicate with the outside world or watches to look at the time.

He described the show as an interesting and educative programme, as participating countries will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and demonstrate their ethical manners worldwide. He reiterated the call for all Sierra Leoneans to vote massively for their sisters.

In her comments, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Trans National, Ms. Victoria Jarr, emphasized that they are working on strategies to make people become interested to vote for the two representatives.
