Twenty six year old Edward Alexander Bangura of 8 Thunder Hill, Freetown, was yesterday sent to prison on a one count charge of murder by Magistrate Komba Kamanda of Court Number 2.
The particulars of offence state that the accused person on Sunday, May 20 this year at the said address murdered his mother Dr. Svetlana Alexander Bangura and his father Dr. Kekura K. Bangura.
No plea was taken and he was not represented by any Lawyer.
It could be recalled that the accused allegedly stabbed his parents to death at their residence and was later arrested by Police Officers at the Kissy Police Station.
The matter comes up again on Tuesday, June 12
