The Leone Stars will tomorrow engage their counterpart Sao Tome and Principle in the Second Leg of the CAF qualifications at the National Stadium in Freetown
Speaking to AYV Sports, Leone Stars Head Coach Lars Ollof Mattson, said he was very optimistic that his boys will defeat Sao Tome and move to the next stage.
“My main aim now is to ensure that the boys focus their attention in the game and win the match, because it very curial to us,” he noted.
He explained that the spirit in the camp is very high because of their impressive performance in the two last matches, which he said has built the confidence of the players.
He also explained that the recent away performance in Equatorial Guinea was so great that they deserve to be in the next World Cup and Nations Cup.
“I am going to use the same team,’ he observed, revealing that they have just acquired two new players, Mustapha Dumbuya and Victor making him surer of better performances in future encounters.
The Sao Tome and Principe team arrived on Wednesday night with a 33 man delegation for the Saturday match.
