The Managing Director of Home Finance Company, Mr. Ahmed B. Kamara has said that the country needs more housing accommodation because of a rapid growth in population.
He recalled that the eleven year civil war in the country destroyed so many houses and that up to this time most people have not been able to re-build those houses.
He revealed that said that since they established the company in 2008, they have built about two hundred and twenty one houses across the country, while the demand for more homes still continues to be very high.
He disclosed that the Home Finance Company is a subsidiary of the National Social Insurance Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) charged with the duty of building houses for mortgages. He also stated that they have accommodation for all levels of income earners which they either sell or give out on loans.
