British Born Ian Gill is in Sierra Leone for two weeks to teach Science student in different secondary schools as part of his own offer to contribute to developing young people in the country.

Explaining this to AYV in an interview, he said he decided to come to Sierra Leone because he had spent a lot of time in East Africa teaching Chemistry there and wanted to extend his assistance to this country.

He stated he was aware of the constraints the pupils are facing in this country because they lack the necessary equipment and materials to go through their courses, which was the reason he decided to come here and help them in Chemistry.

He disclosed that he started with the Government Technical secondary School and will continue with the St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Beacon High School, Royal Beckley and Fourah Bay College School.
