Salone athletes train at Hastings


The two Sierra Leonean athletes that will be representing their country in this year’s Olympic Games in London has ended a week’s training in Hastings ahead of the games on Tuesday July 17th before moving to the games village.

According to the coach, who accompanied the team, Abu Kamara (aka Abu White), both athletes- Ola Sesay and Ibrahim Turay- appeared confident of what lay ahead of them as the past couple of days they have been working hard to see how they would improve on their timing, especially Ibrahim Turay who will be competing in the 200m.

Even though they are faced with a difficult climatic condition, coach Kamara said they were on top of situation for now and he hoped to improve on the time of Ibrahim Turay who is expected to participate next month on the August 5th, 2012.
