Prince Duwai donated to two Salone athletes


Former Sierra Leonean athlete, Prince Duwai, has donated sporting equipment to the two Sierra Leonean athletes, Ola Sesay and Ibrahim Turay, few days ahead of their event in this year’s London Olympic Games.

Duwai, who competed for the country in the 400 meters internationally, said that he was doing such donation has his own contribution towards the athletes.

He also said that for Ibrahim Turay the games was going to be an experience for him and he would learn from Ola Sesay who has been to bigger games. He said he hopes that the two athletes would have a very good day so that they would be able to spring surprises in the world.

Ola Sesay, who received the sporting gears on behalf Ibrahim Turay, said she was very happy for the gears, including training vests.

The NOC President, Henry G Moore, said he was very grateful for the donation.
